Signal High News Corporation started off as Signal High Networks Inc. in Niagara Falls, Canada – established August 2017 with the goal of operating an alternative news wire. We reported on the growing trend of police violence and corruption, a lack of accountability in government and failure on the part of contemporary news media to give the matter proper coverage.
We were founded as a news media organization and not an activist group; however, we quickly earned the reputation of being aggressive, intensive and relentless in the pursuit of truth. We investigated contentious news stories, never afraid to expose the whole truth. We started by researching stories, writing articles and selling them to other publications. We built a following and incurred threats from authorities, normal for alternative news outlets in Canada. We relied on good sources and quality analysis, and continue to do so today.
BadCop.Online was introduced to a limited trial audience, reporting on the police brutality and outright racism that led to the deaths of Eric Garner, Javier Ambler, Manuel Ellis, Elijah McClain, George Floyd and countless others who had fallen victim. Ready or not, the time had come to make these news stories very, very public and give them the attention and respect they deserve. At the same time BadCop.Online was making waves, other channels were being developed, each investigating and reporting on a particular controversy or public interest.
Since inception, we have grown from one channel to many, from a small basement operation to a global force for truth, from one line of business to include radio and studio broadcast licenses with global reach. We found a home in New York City and later in Delaware, closing the Canadian company completely in favour of U.S. incorporation. Today we are almost entirely decentralized – a bunch of digital nomads one might say. We have remained true to our roots. We relentlessly pursue truth.
