/PG/ Fort Pierce, Florida (Signal High) for BadCop.Online —– A Fort Pierce police officer has been fired and charged after he beat a handcuffed man earlier this year.
Former Police Officer Jean Valbrun is alleged to have punched an unidentified man multiple times while he was handcuffed, fracturing his nose, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Valbrun is also alleged to have removed his body-worn camera before he set out to give the beating. He was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail and is being prosecuted by the State Attorney of the 19th Judicial Circuit.
