Quebec (Gatineau) Cop Facing Charges

Gatineau, Quebec, Canada (Signal High) —– A Quebec (Gatineau) police officer has been charged with assault and uttering threats to kill following an ‘intervention’ earlier that year.  Gatineau Police Constable Jonathan Lévesque was charged on or about August 7 and suspended with pay.  The police department started an internal investigation in June. Lévesque will remain suspended throughout the legal process.
